Serving as the voice of my constituents in Cecil when considering impactful, sometimes nuanced, and occasionally complex legislation before the Maryland General Assembly is a privilege I value. Doing so in an effective way beyond “red vs. blue” talking points or popularity contests on social media is a very serious job. While I am reminded of this daily, I was pleased to see this recognition documented by The University of Virginia and Vanderbilt University’s Center for Effective Lawmaking.
